I'm trying to register my game but it says the serial code is invalid/already usedĭepending on the situation the solution to this may vary. If you see the GTW expansion, download it through there. Scroll a bit down and there you'll see all your expansions, game packs and stuff packs. Click on the 'i', you'll be taken to a different screen. You'll see a little screen come up with an 'i' and a 'play/download/install' button. They don't give a date for that just yet though. After that, they'll roll out these changes to all Neighbour Sims.
There's a lot EA want to do with this, so the update will come in multiple parts, with the first one focusing on Sims connected to your main household - coworkers, friends, randos they met at the gym, that sort of thing. (Though I totally think you should be allowed to do exactly that, "hey death, wanna open a cake shop with me?") You can't just go and ask death incarnate if they fancy a career change. Will you be the destroyer of relationships? Or the supportive pal? You decide!ĮA note that "Neighbour Sims" refers to most of the NPCs in the game, but not special ones like the Grim Reaper. On a slightly more friendly note, you can encourage unemployed Sims to find jobs too.
You can make Neighbour Sims trash talk others to sabotage relationships, play matchmaker and tell two Sims to get together, or even convince an existing couple to split.
Some life changes can only be influenced by you, however, and they're all rather manipulative. To be fair, those are big decisions! I'd probably call a friend or family member about that sort of stuff. For example, they'll always give you a call to check whether or not they should accept a marriage proposal or career promotion. While there are some decisions they can make autonomously, Neighbours will never go ahead with anything without asking for your input first.
